A tested credential
CPC is not awarded for attendance. You sit AAPC's exam and you either reach the pass mark or you do not — which is exactly why it carries weight on a resume.
Three months of training for the Certified Professional Coder credential: two months covering the full syllabus, then a month of mock tests. Taught online or offline, with complimentary HCC training included.
CPC stands for Certified Professional Coder. It is credentialed by AAPC, and it is earned by passing AAPC's exam — a 100-mark paper with a minimum of 70 marks to pass. This program is built to get you to that standard.

The syllabus covers ICD, CPT and HCPCS together with anatomy and physiology, so you can read what the provider documented before you go looking for a code.
Interview preparation is part of the syllabus and this program carries a 100% placement guarantee, so passing the exam is a step rather than the finish line.
Four things define this track: the syllabus is covered in full, you are tested constantly, HCC training comes free with it, and placement is guaranteed.
Every subject on the syllabus — ICD, CPT, HCPCS, anatomy, physiology and interview preparation — is taught in full, whether you join online or offline.
A chapter-wise test series runs through the program, and the final month is given over to 8 to 10 full mock tests.
HCC — Hierarchical Condition Category — coding training is included with this program at no extra cost.
This program carries a 100% placement guarantee. Our placement team works closely with medical coding and billing organizations and connects our students with the openings they are hiring for.
The CPC exam belongs to AAPC, not to us. You register for it and pay for it with AAPC directly. The figures below describe that exam — they are not SMD Coding charges.
To be unmistakably clear: the INR 70,000 – 72,000 above is AAPC's examination fee. It is paid by you, directly to AAPC, and no part of it comes to SMD Coding. It is not what our training costs and it is not a figure quoted by us. Because it tracks the dollar rate, the exact amount changes. For anything to do with the training program itself, talk to us directly.
Tell us where you are starting from and we will walk you through the syllabus, the mock test month and the complimentary HCC training — then get you enrolled.
