What we teach
One credential, taught end to end
We train for one credential: CPC — Certified Professional Coder, credentialed by AAPC. The program runs three months — two months on the six subjects below, then a full month of mock tests. Online or offline, with complimentary HCC training included.
CPT
The procedure and service code set used to report the work that was actually performed.
HCPCS
The code set used for the items and services that fall outside CPT.
Anatomy
The structures of the body, so that a clinical note reads as a picture and not a list of unfamiliar terms.
Physiology
How those structures work, and therefore what the documentation is describing when something goes wrong.
Interview preparation
How to present your coding knowledge and your reasoning to an employer, taught as part of the syllabus.
